Can’t stress enough how much of a boost it is to grind cash games with a solid VIP deal in place. Signing up at Betfred two years ago, through the UKSP affiliate, may have been my most profitable all-time poker decision. Personalized support and a staggering rate of return on rake – regardless of hand volume – have done wonders for my peace of mind and the health of my bankroll.

Contested out of doors, another hot day on Fremont Street, inside The Experience.
Air conditioning installed beneath the table, so that a cool breeze from below mingles with warm desert wind, resulting in miniature weather patterns which have cards flying.

Have been grinding NL50 and NL100 for about a week.
Cashing in on a great many hours of 6-handed video training.
Feeling renewed confidence amping up aggression in confined spaces.

I Love My Betfred Affiliate

Can't stress enough how much of a boost it is to grind cash games with a solid VIP deal in place. Signing up at Betfred two years ago, through the UKSP affiliate, may have been my most profitable all-time poker decision. Personalized support and a staggering rate of return on rake - regardless of hand volume - have done wonders for my peace of mind and the health of my bankroll.

Neku the lil' mascot

Neku Sakuraba

The player assumes the role of Neku Sakuraba (桜庭 音操, Sakuraba Neku?, ネク Neku), an anti-social teenage boy who claims he does not "get" people, and rarely leaves the house without a pound of gage...

Joe_Elegant in Semi-Grind Mode

Joe_Elegant here, been grinding the Fulltilt 90 man (12$) with some success. A 4th and a 5th place finish for 170$. Perhaps it's the lack of gage but I feel a bit on edge which translates to limited patience overall so I've been sticking to short sessions, no more than 5hrs. Just got 2nd in a 100$ qualifier on ongame for 30$. We played 3 handed for about 45 min. + which tested my patience. I really need to work on my shorthanded play.

-Joe_Elegant's Tip of The Day: avoid coinflips in a heads up situations when you feel you have a skill edge. Conversely, take the worst of a coinflip if you feel you are outmatched.

Grinding in Korea

Joe_Elegance here, still recovering from jet lag. I have not played much poker since arriving here in Gunsan S.Korea two days ago. I did however manage to win a 100$ ticket on ongame and am hoping to parlay that into something substantial. I will soon renew my tournament grinding but I'm currently limited by the fact that I only have one small screen to play on. This is unacceptable as I will need at least 1 20" flatscreen in addition to my laptop to properly grind 4 or 5 tournaments at once. Joe_Elegance's tip of the day: play a great volume of scheduled tournaments, keep your emotions in check, and know when to quit. Best of luck to all you grinders out there, remember to keep a balanced lifestyle and I'll see you on the virtual feltWinking smile.
